Your mission

As a Mechanical Engineer (m/f/d), you will be an essential part of our Hardware Development team and play a key role in shaping the series-production robots that are already successfully deployed at customer sites across Germany today.

Your responsibilities

Mechanical Development & Design: You are responsible for the conceptual design and detailed mechanical development of our robot structures, with a focus on creating robust and efficient designs using CAD software.
Design for Manufacturing: You are responsible for the mechanical design of our series-production robots, particularly the design of sheet metal and plastic components and the selection of suitable manufacturing processes. You also have a solid understanding of specifying standards and tolerances.
Component Testing & Quality Assurance: You support the inspection of manufactured components to ensure they meet all functional and safety requirements, both internally and at our external suppliers.
Documentation: You create and maintain documentation for production, service and maintenance, including technical drawings, assembly instructions and bills of materials (BOMs).

Your profile

A completed degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a comparable field of study
Experience in the mechanical development of mobile robots or similarly cost-efficient machines, ideally in an industrial or consumer context
Experience with various metal and plastic manufacturing processes
Experience with SolidWorks Mechanical or comparable CAD tools
A hands-on mentality and a passion for working on diverse tasks in an interdisciplinary team
Ideally, good command of English
